General Membership Meeting
Meeting was called to order at 7PM on April 20, 2006
Members present-
Minutes
- Motion to suspend the reading of minutes by Doc Bloom, second by Erik Cronk.
Treasures Report
- Savings $11,739.28 Checking $493.14
- $100 for help offset the cost of travel expenses for the Northwest regional president.
- Check was cut for $500 to send the two students who were approved for the Rivers Conservation Camp.
- Other bills paid was postage.
- Motion to accept by Al Barger, second by Dave Fetzner.
Committees
Banquet
o $738 less than the year before.
o Attendance was around 160 adult and 40 children.
o Tentative profit was $5297
o We are penciled in for the last Saturday in March of 2007.
o Dave Fetzner motioned to leave $1000 in the banquet account for the purchase of prizes second by Rick Gilson. Motion passed unanimously.
Stream Access
o Members of the Stream Access committee met Dr. Austin and Sam Concilla. Discuss what the committee would like to see happen with the stamp monies to improve stream access. Suggestions include getting in contact with the land owners and get staff to begin getting in contact with the land owners. There is about 45 total fishable miles of stream between Elk, Walnut, and Crocked Creek. Sam Concilla and Dr. Austin did not think it was possible to allocate a percentage of the monies for access to the steelhead fishery.
o The chapter is going to continue to pursue this issue with Dr. Austin. The Chapter is encouraging others to get in contact with their congressmen and representatives and make sure that there are aware of the issues related to stream access and easements.
o Erik will be attending State Counsel next month.
o There were some sections of Caldwell that was recently posted.
Stream Improvement
o No report
Old Business
o Received a letter from the Steelheaders thanking them for assisting with the feeding of the smolts.
o Received a thank you letter from Linda Steiner.
o Trout in the classroom.
o The float trip
New Business

· Steve Brugger had a presentation to the chapter
Motion to adjourn by Erik Cronk, second by Lee Bloom. Motion passed unanimously.
