S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie "Ice Out Party" to be Held Sunday, March 20
The S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie's family-friendly event, the "Ice Out Party," will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at the Erie Shrine Club. PA F&BC buys more stream rights
On January 21, 2016, the PA Fish and Boat Commission announced that it acquired several additional easements to steelhead streams in Erie. The press release can be found here.

Lake Erie Walleye Plan Released by Great Lakes Fishery Commission
On December 8, 2015, the Great Lakes Fishery Commission released its lake Erie Walleye Management Plan for 2015 through 2019. The plan is available here, along with a press release.
Fly Fishing Film Tour Returning to Erie on Saturday, February 27
Join the NWPA Chapter of Trout Unlimited as they bring the Fly Fishing Film Tour back to Erie. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27th at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, starting at 7:30PM. Tickets are $15 and available for purchase in the FishUSA showroom, at Cronk Insurance and online through TicketFly.
Perch size limit went into effect Dec. 1

On December 1, the 7" perch limit went into effect for Lake Erie waters, including Presque Isle Bay. The creel limit remains at 30. For more information, see the Regulations page.
